Clad in her hand-beaded, burgundy-and-gold team uniform, Sylvia Potts (first row, second from left) posed for this photograph with the other members of the Redskinettes, the official cheerleaders for professional football's Washington Redskins. In 1969, Potts became one of the first African American members of the cheering squad.

Youngest son of Anderson Walls, Douglas Walls, with Kathleen and June, Douglas's nieces. Photo taken around 1957/8.
Douglas was born in 1950. Girls were born in the mid-50s. All grew up in Lakeland. Girls grew up with grandparents with Douglas. Daughter built 5116 next to her parents 44 years from 2019. Used to be a croquet field in 40s and 50s.

Maseo D. Campbell, U.S. Army
Maseo D. Campbell, the son of Maseo and Elizabeth Hicks Campbell, grew up with his brother and four sisters on Navahoe Street. After graduating from Northwestern High School, he served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, with posts in Long Ben and later Diel Tang, where he was assigned the task of transporting jet fuel from Phu Vinh to the Mekong Delta, surviving many attacks along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Campbell was discharged with honors August 1, 1969.
