Gray Home
Located directly across from Lake Artemesia and the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad tracks, the Gray family home was for more than 60 years the site of many gatherings for family and friends. It hosted elementary school students in 1909 when the space in the schoolhouse became inadequate. From 1909 to 1917 a post office and rail stop operated from it as well. Today, Paint Branch Elementary stands on the property.

Thank you note to Mr. Smith for Lakeland High School 50th Reunion
The note reads, "Mr. Smith, guest, and classmates, I wish to thank all who in any way help make this reunion possible. Your cooperation was excellent. 10 years from today may we all gather here again. Also, the members of the class of '50 wish to thank Mr. Smith and his art dept [sic] for this excellent background." On the bottom, in different handwriting, reads "You are suppose[sic] to thank Mr. Smith no[sic] your job."
