George Elliott Randall was six months old in 1954, when this photograph was taken. “What a time we had getting him ready for this picture,” his mother remembered. “His sister Janet walked him up and down the street and fed him plenty of Sugar Babies.” This photograph of young Randall was taken by Verdell Nesbitt, Lakeland’s own photographer.
