Baltimore Afro American Newspaper column Page 21 Services were held at Embry AME Church with Sunday School at 10 am, Rev. Wing preached at First Baptist Church in Brentwood. Rev. James Gray from Lakeland spoke at 8 pm Services were held at First Baptist Church. A concert by the Happy Four from Muirkirk was held at the church on Wednesday. Students of Bowie Normal School, Julia and Bessie Mack visited their parents for the weekend. James Gray and Susie Briscoe have been ill but are improving. Mr. and Mrs. Alex James had several friends over on Thursday night. They included Gertrude Walls, Dessimae Randall, Julia Brooks, Grace Johnson, Laura Weems, Eliza Gray, Gladys and Lavella Brown, William Rollings, Earl Mason, Louis Gray of Lakeland as well as Aubry Corprew, M Smith , M. Johnson from Washington DC. Samuel Stewart returned home after several months as an inpatient stay at Crownsville Hospital. James Gray with his sons Oscar, Louis and Clarence as well as Rogers Rice traveled to Bowie on Sunday to visit Robert Gray. Robert is a student at the Bowie Normal School. Mary Spriggs at home ill. George Taylor used to live in Lakeland. He now lives in Philadelphia.
