Lakeland School 1st Grade report card of Jean Ann Gray from 1940-41 school year. Gray attended the single race elementary school located on Winnipeg Street in the eastern section of Lakeland. The school was a "Rosenwald School" built in 1925.

An 'autographs' page, signed by a few: James, Christopher, and William Pruden on September 12 2011. Written under each is which grandson they are. There is also a note reading "Keep the dream," signed by a name that's difficult to read. Opposite is a Shakespeare quote superimposed on a picture of clouds, titled 'Administration.'

Lakeland Jr. Sr. High School 35th Reunion Souvenir Journal, a yearbook from the 35th Class Reunion (June 14-15, 1985) at First Baptist Church in College Park, Md and the Ramada Inn in Lanham, Md. See Description for any details on this particular page. Note from donor Arthur Dock: "Edgar Smith put this together for us. It has a few letters and a set of senior superlatives and the yearbook photos of each student. The next item is the program for the 35th Class Reunion. Then there are a series of photographs of one particular party--the reunion. 14 photos. Also an inventory list for the 3 items. These function like senior advertisements - people could purchase a space in the journal to write a short message along with a photo if they so choose. Some people, such as George Duvall, used it as a personal advertisement.

Children would be encouraged to purchase stamps from school to support the government, the children's version of war savings bonds. - The cover is an ornately decorated paper sheet, with an image of an eagle holding the USA flag. "For the purchase of United States war savings bonds." - The first page, describing the rules for the book and the name for who the book belongs to - in this case, Elwood Gross. Affixed in the specified places are 'America on guard' 10 cent U.S. Postal Savings stamps. - Filled up to the $4.10 spot, these stamps are slightly different - they read "United States War Savings 10 cents" and have an engraving of a colonial looking man holding a rifle on it. - A short blurb describing the US Government's obligation to fulfill the value of the stamps.
Printed for fundraising event for the Lupus Foundation at Lakeland Park. This tribute was made for Lakelander, Jacqueline "Jacky" Randall. She was challenged by the ailment for many years. The event was organized by the Lakeland Civic Association and held in her honor at Lakeland Park.
